Blackflame
Lindon has a year left.
When his time runs out, he’ll have to fight an opponent that no one believes he can beat. Unless he learns sacred arts the right way, from scratch, he won’t have a chance to win…and even then, the odds are against him.
In the course of their training, he and Yerin travel to the Blackflame Empire, where they fight to master an ancient power.
Success means a chance at life, but failure means death.
In the sacred arts, only those who risk the most can travel far.
Will Wight
William Lawrence Wight III (born August 11, 1989) is an American author of fantasy literature. He lives in Florida, among the citrus fruits and slithering sea creatures. He’s the New York Times and #1 Kindle Best Selling author of The Traveler’s Gate Trilogy, The Elder Empire (which cleverly offers twice the fun and twice the work), and his series of mythical martial arts magic: Cradle.
He graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2013, earning a Master’s of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and a flute of dragon’s bone. He is also, apparently, invisible to cameras.
Cradle
Cradle consists of twelve primary books, and includes one additional book that complement the series but is not considered mandatory reads. The current recommended reading order for the series is provided below.
