Dragonlance

Dragonlance is a shared universe of fantasy novels, comics, and role-playing games created by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. The Dragonlance setting is centered on the continent of Ansalon on the world of Krynn, and follows a group of companions known as the Heroes of the Lance, as they journey to defeat the evil goddess Takhisis and her army of draconians. The series includes numerous novels and short stories, as well as role-playing game supplements and graphic novels. The Dragonlance series has been a popular and influential part of the fantasy genre since its inception in the 1980s, and has helped to popularize the use of gaming tie-ins in literature.
