In the follow-up to Admiral, the intergalactic war has ended and hostilities between the Empire and the Commonwealth are officially over, but the Admiral is far from safe...
The Admiral managed to escape an unknown and very dangerous planet with his companions with nothing but their wits, but the danger is far from over. He’s a man who knows too much, and the Empire is not going to let him go easily. After the Empire’s attempt to poison him fails, the Admiral makes a date with Salmagard, the only one who knows what he’s been through.
A relaxing getaway is just what the doctor ordered, but in the lawless Free Trade system, there’s a thriving market built on galactic resentment for the Empire. As obvious Evagardian citizens, the Admiral and Salmagard, along with fellow tourists and veterans Diana Kladinova and Ibuki Sei, are perfect targets for kidnapping. When Diana and Salmagard break free from their kidnappers, it’s up to them to take on the wild frontiers of space to save their companions.
