The mission to steal analog history continues, before dark forces can forever alter the digital past, in the riveting sequel to Keystone.
When Elisha Dewitt is asked to steal a cassette from Andy Warhol’s Time Capsules, the last person she expects to run into is Garrett Alexander. She hasn’t been able to stop thinking about him since the night they spent together after his Initiation Heist. The thing is, they’re both after the tape, and she isn’t sure how far he’ll go to get it.
Add to that scans that reveal Elisha’s and Garrett’s brains are lit up like yin and yang and together are the keystone to the quantum computing needed to make the Simulated Utopia the world is on the verge of entering work — and they’ve got a real problem.
Pitted against Garrett in a game of cat and mouse, Elisha will have to figure out who to trust — Allard and the thieves who gave her a home; Nash, the boy from her past who always gave her hope for the future; or Garrett, her rival who she can’t get out of her head.
But then, none of it will matter if she doesn’t overthrow one of two plots to reset history and change humanity as we know it.
Katie is a fashion designer turned novelist. She graduated with a BA in Communication Studies from UCLA and a Professional Designation in Fashion Design from FIDM. It never occurred to her that she was a writer until an economic crisis induced career shift from lingerie designer to ecommerce webmistress led her to start the company blog. Not being an expert in lingerie, she decided to write the blog as a fictional serial starring a girl named Olivia Bloom who worked for the lingerie line. And that’s when Katie fell in love with storytelling. She hasn’t looked back since. Katie lives in Los Angeles with her husband.
