The AvatarPoul Anderson
There is us. There are the Others.
And through the shimmering gates they left for us, there are stars beyond stars: universes to be discovered on a voyage more awesome, an adventure more incredible than anything humankind has ever dared to dream before!
For Poul Anderson, one of SF's most honored authors, THE AVATAR marks that surge of greatness that comes when a writer's vision is expanded to the full, his powers gathered, his masterwork ready for creation. It is his biggest book. His most vast and splendid. The one he has been waiting to write, and we to read.
