How long is book 2

Bryce told in November that Stormweaver 2 length was cracked 200k words count and writing process is still going on. Don't have exact details but I'm assuming it will be about the same size as the first book.   Release date has been delayed by 2 months: [quote=Bryce O'Connor, January 28, 2023]The bad news... Bryce just updated that Stormweaver 2 length is now 250k words. Compared to the first book which is 254k words this sequel might be even a bit longer when completed.

I'm glad to see extra time taken because the first one was really amazing. I've just been hoping it will pop up but couldn't resist doing some extra research on the finish line. Please don't worry about us fans or anyone pushing you good sir. Just please promise to make this one better than the first. Lol I know that's putting the pedestal pretty high but I figured this way you want rush because some exet wants you to. Please just keep working hard and your true fans will show patience and love. Thank you for writing in the first place good sir, Iron Prince is truly one of the best books I've ever had the enjoyment of letting into my brain. Thank you again, a patient fan. 

I get that you're a fan, and this series seems very interesting to me as well which I've had on my wish list. Knowing that it's a series, I always wait for at least the second book to buy it. So I can have fun going at least 2 books strong. In the case where it takes 3 years to release the 2nd book, there's no way I'd even want to give myself a chance at liking it. I'll be another 3 years before I can get another installment.

I agree except it might be my favorite character/series. Funny how they can put 2 books out in other series in the wait for this book.

another series doesnt have books 2-3 times as long as a regular book

Fire and Song is going to be just over 310k words.
