A REVIEW OF JOE R. LANSDALE'S CHRISTMAS WITH THE DEAD

Joe R. Lansdale's Christmas with the Dead is an atmospheric horror novella, which will be of interest to readers who like good zombie novellas.

As a big horror fan I was quite impressed by Lansdale's story, because it was something different. I'm sure that all horror fans will find this story entertaining.

Here's some information about the story:

Christmas with the Dead is a story about Calvin who has lost his family and is surrounded by zombies. There are lots of zombies outside Calvin's house and he's turned his house into a fortress. He only leaves his house when he has to get new supplies. Despite the zombies Calvin decides to celebrate Christmas.

Joe R. Lansdale writes fluently and he knows how to create the right kind of atmosphere, so it was a pleasure to read this novella. I liked the ending very much, because it was delightfully twisted.

I've heard that this novella will be filmed this year. I'm looking forward to watching the film (if the filmmakers succeed in filming this novella, the movie will be worth watching).

I can recommend Christmas with the Dead to all readers who like zombies. If you like zombie stories, you'll love this story.
