Dabel Brothers Publishing has done a big favour for fans and Menyons (die-hard fans) of Sherrilyn Kenyon by publishing this beautiful coloring book based on her Dark-Hunter series of urban fantasy novels with paranormal romance elements, because fans of the series will be delighted to see some of their favourite characters presented in beautiful drawings. This coloring book will also be of interest to readers who enjoy coloring drawings and looking at beautiful drawings.
Before I begin to analyse and review the contents of this coloring book, I think it's good to say a few words about the Dark-Hunters, because there may be readers out there who are not familiar with them:
The Dark-Hunters are immortal warriors who sell their souls to the Greek goddess Artemis for an Act of Vengeance against the one who murdered them. I was amazed by how beautiful and detailed the drawings are, because the characters have been drawn realistically and have many details. All the different parts of their bodies - faces, eyes, hair, hands, legs and muscles - stand out in the drawings.
I'm not an expert on coloring books, but from what I've seen I can mention that this coloring book is different from other coloring books by having high quality artwork. The artwork is so amazing that you can't help but admire it, because the artist has paid a lot of attention to details.
The drawings are delicately atmospheric and have alluring eroticism. Their book-like nature appealed to me, because I enjoy looking at well-drawn comic book art. The artist has paid a lot of attention to the background art, which is great, because background art highlights the physical appearance of the characters.
This coloring book features drawings of these characters: Artemis, Ash, Bane, Belle, Caleb, Falcyn, Jaden, Jullien, Kody, Mack, Maxis, Nero, Nick, Nykyrian, Savitar, Simi, Styxx, Tabitha, Talyn, Thorn, Trajan, Ushara, Vane, and Simi and Ash (the cover image). Each of them has been drawn lovingly and will please those who have read Sherrilyn Kenyon's novels.
