From Beneath These Fields of Blood
Praised for the eclectic nature if his previous short-story collections, From Beneath These Fields of Blood marks the first time Gary A. Braunbeck has released a book devoted to all-out horror, making this collection unique amongst his body of work.
The stories collected here are some of his darkest, including the never-before-published, author's-preferred versions of "The Sisterhood of Plain-Faced Women" and "Haceldama" (perhaps Braunbeck's single most popular short story). From Beneath These Fields of Blood is a must-have for Braunbeck fans, and an unsettling introduction for those who have yet to read him.
