Renaissance is also known as Man of Two Worlds (1963).
Mankind is dying, it's fate depends upon one man, Ketan, the man of two worlds. Like all his companions he has emerged from the Temple of Birth with his emotions controlled by the will of Kronweld. But Ketan harbours curiousity about his community's past and through this emerges knowledge.

Raymond F. Jones
Raymond Fisher Jones (1915–1994) was an American science fiction author.
