The School
To outsiders, it seems like a strange place to live, but to Frank and Allison Hitchcock, the abandoned public school is a sanctuary. Their son has died in a tragic accident; their love for each other grows thinner each day. When they were children, the world was a happier place, and school buildings had been a part of that joy. Working together to transform the school into a unique bed-and-breakfast, the Hitchcocks hope to rekindle their love and recapture their innocence.
But there is no innocence at the school. Ghostly children stalk its halls, silent and unsmiling. The nearby roadways are haunted, perhaps by the vengeful spirit of a hated teacher. And in the building's basement, something unnatural is growing ever stronger.
