A true lost classic, originally written shortly after WW I but not published until 1939 when WW II was under-way, the print works was bombed and most of the copies were destroyed consequently original editions are almost impossible to find.

A totalitarian British government develops in secret an invincible army of synthetically created troops known as the Flesh Guard. When the news of this fiendish invention leaks out the terrified European powers join forces to mount a massive pre-emptive invasion of Britain.
