Silke Brandt is a Helsinki-based German writer and editor with about 60 publications (short fiction, essays) in print, e. g. in S. T. Joshi’s Penumbra 3, Kosmoskynä 2-3 2023, Kuiskaus pimeässä 1-2024 and at Faber & Faber London. Her work has been translated into Finnish and Polish. Currently translates Ramsey Campbell for Wandler Verlag.

She worked in marketing, journalism, as a cultural producer, and professional deckhand on tall ships (mainly in the Dutch fleet); loves Brutalism / modern architecture, speculative fiction and race sailing.
