The tower

The Last Paladin 1 (The Last Paladin #1) by Roman Savarovsky
The Last Paladin 1
The Last Paladin #1
by Roman Savarovsky

I was once a mighty Paladin of Darkness, mother of all the Elements. The one and only of my kind.

Some called me the chosen one, a savior destined to rescue the world; others insisted I would be its downfall.

I never got the chance to discover who was right. Society conspired with the traitors to trap me in the deadly Element of Time.

But a year later, I managed to break free... wait, how has it been 700 years?

The tower symbolizes humanity’s lost greatness, the mystery of the past, and Marcus’s personal journey. Once a pinnacle of human achievement powered by the Great Source, it now stands as a relic shrouded in myths and speculation. For Marcus, it’s both a goal and an emotional anchor, drawing him toward a world that has changed while reminding him of what was lost.

The symbolism is clear, but it might feel more impactful if the tower also actively influences Marcus’s decisions or challenges him along the way. Does it change meaning for him as he gets closer or learns more about the Great Source? @ Slope Game 2
