Lauren J.A. Bear is a writer whose passion for mythology and rich storytelling invites readers to explore ancient tales through fresh eyes. Born in Boston and raised along the shores of Long Beach, California, Lauren's connection to stories was sparked early on. She went on to study English at UCLA, and later earned a degree in Education from Loyola Marymount University. Over a decade spent teaching middle school Humanities helped her shape a deep understanding of history, literature, and the powerful impact of storytelling—tools she now brings to her writing.
