Callie Kazumi

Callie Kazumi isn’t here to follow the rules—she’s here to bend them into strange, glittering shapes.

A newer voice in the dark fantasy and paranormal romance space, Kazumi crafts stories where shadows stretch long and love rarely comes without blood. Her debut series, The Wicked Kin, pulls readers into a world of dangerous magic, eerie folklore, and morally ambiguous monsters you can’t help but crave. It's a place where the line between salvation and damnation blurs—and Kazumi seems most at home walking that line barefoot.

Though she keeps much of her personal life tucked away behind the pages, readers quickly sense the weight of her influences: mythic tales told in hushed tones, the ache of old fairytales retold with teeth, and the magnetic pull of forbidden desire. Her prose is sharp, evocative, and unafraid to linger in the dark—perfect for fans who come for the fantasy but stay for the emotional ruin.

Callie Kazumi may be new to the bookshelf, but her stories already whisper like secrets meant only for those brave enough to listen. As her readership grows, so too does the eerie hum of a writer beginning to carve out a space uniquely her own in indie fantasy.
