Dr Sorcha Ní Fhlainn is Reader in Film Studies and American Studies and a founding member of the Manchester Centre for Gothic Studies, Manchester Metropolitan University. She is editor of Open Screens, the journal of the British Association of Film, Television and Screen Studies, and Reviews Editor for Gothic Studies, the journal of the International Gothic Association. Her research interests include Gothic and Horror Studies, Hollywood Cinema, American history, and popular culture.
