Al Shield

Al Shield is an Australian radio announcer who has worked in various radio stations for the last 18 years, each with it's own amusing set of random adventures. After blogging for quite a while he finally took the plunge and put his strange journeys into book form in 2017 and loved the process so much, he continued to write, even penning a book all about the hilarious house he once owned. Having penned a lot of adventures, he's now moving to different genres including horror with lots of things that go boom in the night.

When not on radio or writing and blogging Al keeps himself busy with his wife, two kids and faithful hound Savannah on the Gold Coast Queensland where he reviews beers, absorbs podcasts daily, yells at traffic and mows the lawn once in a blue moon. He loves his music, books, cars (especially his Japanese wagon), wine and bbqs on a Sunday night. There's also an acoustic guitar somewhere under all the junk in the spare room - when he finally finds it again and learns how to play something we will endeavour to update this last bit.
