Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni

Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni (Chitralekha Banerjee, born 1957) is an Indian-American author and poet. She is also the Betty and Gene McDavid Professor of Writing at the nationally-ranked University of Houston Creative Writing Program.
