Colin Kapp
Derek Ivor Colin Kapp, 1928–2007, was an Electronics Engineer and was able to draw upon this experience for many of his Science Fiction stories.
He began his career with Mullard Electronics then specialised in electroplating techniques, eventually becoming a freelance consultant engineer.
