Prince in Exile

Ashok Banker's Ramayana series is presented here the way the author originally intended for his retelling. Three magnificent omnibus editions bring together all the six books published earlier. Prince in Exile, Part Two of the Ramayana Series includes the third and fourth books, Demons of Chitrakut and Armies of Hanuman.

After quelling the demon invasion of Ayodhya Rama has to face a greater crisis – fourteen years of exile, deep in the heart of the forest in Chitrakut, where he is pitted against the surviving rakshasas of Ravana’s huge army. Once again he achieves victory and overpowers the forces of darkness in the bloody battle of Janasthana... but the war is far from over. Sita is abducted by Ravana and Rama has to now prepare for an epic confrontation that will test the very limits of his courage, skill and endurance.
