The Islander

Long ago, in the Days of Evil, men warred with weapons of wizardry, weapons that could strike around the world, weapons that even wounded the moon. So it is said. Now things are changed. Only the names of constellations remain from the ancient days, yet what was a ram, or a lion, or a bull?

Into this world is born Hael, a Shasinn herdsman, on the island called Gale. A simple man, it would seem... yet Hael is a man called by the spirits to a greater destiny, out into a world of cities and tribes of which he knows only rumors, out ito a world where - it is said - some men still hold the ancient secrets.
