Robert "Bob" Le Normand was born in St Helier, Jersey in 1954. As a child he
moved to the mainland with his parents. Although leaving school with no
formal qualifications, Bob had caught the writing bug at an early age,
and was earmarked as a "future author" by his English teacher.
