The Dalek Factor
When a Thal platoon arrive on a hostile planet investigating reports that Dalek artifacts have been detected, they are unprepared for what they find. In an underground room is a stranger, a Professor, or so he claims, with no member of who he is or why he is there, With death and horror their only companions, the Thals make their way with the Professor into the heart of a crumbling Dalek citadel in search of answers-only to find that the Daleks are the least of the horrors they must face.
Simon Clark
Simon Clark is a horror novel writer from Doncaster, England. One of his most notable works is the novel The Night of the Triffids.
Clark has been nominated for the Bram Stoker Award for Best First Novel, World Fantasy Award for Best Novella and British Fantasy Award. In 2001 he won the British Fantasy awards for best short story, "Goblin City Lights", and the aforementioned The Night of the Triffids.
He is also the author of the Doctor Who novella The Dalek Factor. Rumour has it that one of his latest novels, King Blood, is being made into a feature film. Several of his characters have been inspired by his teenage daughter, in regards to her headstrong and determined ways.
Doctor Who Novellas
The Telos Doctor Who novellas were a series of tie-in novellas based on the long-running BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who, officially licensed by the BBC and published by Telos Publishing Ltd. Like all Doctor Who spin-off media, their canonicity in relation to the television series is open to interpretation.
