The Far Kingdoms

Young, pampered Amalric Antero, son of a trader in the port city of Orissa, is not looking forward to departing on the traditional test-of-character voyage, known as "Finding His Tradewind". But then he meets Janos Greycloak, a dashing warrior-scholar, and together they decide to sail in search of the fabulous Far Kingdoms.

And suddenly Amalric finds himself setting out on the adventure of a lifetime, on a daring and perilous quest that shall change him, and his life, forever: through unknown lands peopled by nightmares, confronted with treachery, with magical imprisonment, and all the fabled power and riches of the Far Kingdoms – but will he and Janus make it to the end of their journey unscathed – or at all?
