Tears of Destiny

The Dragons won the second battle but at a steep coast. Janevra barely clings to life after Raxsen’s attack. Mat and Ciathir watch over her helpless. They can do nothing as she battles the curse.

Mat knows that if Janevra dies he has little hope of beating Raxsen. While she lays unconscious, Mat feels time slipping away. Soon he will need to return to LTana and travel with Houdian to the Uncharted Isles. There it is said he will make a decision which will change the course of his life and the rest of the world.

Dei and Qwaser have been left behind to help rebuild Four Rings. But before they can recover from the battle, they discover that the battle is far from over. Thousands of rogui and sylai emerge from the woods and charge. What Dei and Qwaser do not know is that it is a battle that will take them all the way to the capital of Istra and into the dungeons of the palace.

Ake and Eside are following the trail of Dashar and Saviak. They took Caya, Lousai and Tayam in hopes the three children would help them find the Pearls of the Light. The Phoenixes along with Cleovia and her husband are desperately trying to catch them before they reach the Devil’s Range. If they do not, they may never find them again.

Riak and Kard find themselves in the World of Dawn, the land of the Gods. It is a land where the dead live and where the living never go. Together they learn of the seven rules they must bring back to the next goddess, a princess of the Northern Kingdom.

Ryen is helping the citizens of Jariran rebuild but he gets more than he bargained for when the city falls under siege. More than ten thousand rogui and sylai have surrounded the city walls. There is little chance Ryen and the citizens of Jariran will survive.

Raxsen, furious he lost the second battle, decides to send two of his officers in search of the Iron Hand of Carim. He knows if he can find it, the Dragons will stand no chance. If he has it, he can carry out his plans of making and bringing to life the most dangerous beast every created. If he can succeed, the world will easily fall to his magic.
