Stephen Robinett
Stephen Allen Robinett (1941–2004) was an American author of science fiction novels and stories. Robinett's first publication was in the March 1969 edition of the magazine Analog Science Fiction and Fact, with the novelette Minitalent, which appeared under his most-used pseudonym, Tak Hallus (which he claimed was Persian for "pseudonym"). By the mid-1970s, however, he had begun using his own name. He published two novels, Stargate and The Man Responsible in the mid-1970s, and continued to publish short fiction until the early 1980s.
