A vigilante mob is killing demons in Los Angeles – and they can't tell the bad from the good.; Incited by an outspoken radio host, a mob of vigilantes has descended Los Angeles intent on ridding the city of the demons which they believe have overrun it. To Angel and his fellow fighters of evil, the vigilante killers are more of a hindrance than a help. Intent on solving a grisly and harrowing murder, at first they fail to realise that the angry mob is becoming a serious issue – let alone how much danger they themselves are in. Then Lorne is attacked and almost killed and Connor disappears. The mob isn't stopping to ask which demons are on the side of good and which are not. Or maybe they just don't care. Maybe anyone with a trace of demonic blood is fair game to them – and that includes the vampire with a soul...
