This is the new Sissy Sawyer adventure.When an elevator in the semi-abandoned Giley Building sticks at floor fifteen during a May lunchtime, it's no great surprise to the office-workers whose lunches are getting cold: the building's falling apart and has been earmarked for demolition. But when the elevator car shudders to the ground floor and the doors open to reveal the body of a middle-aged man, who has been stabbed repeatedly, and a terrified and bloodied young woman who has also been attacked, it sets in motion a chain of events that will make the streets of Cincinnati run with blood... Talented police artist Molly and her alternative, chain-smoking, fortune-telling mother-in-law, Sissy, become inextricably involved as the perpetrator begins a city-wide massacre. But surely one man can't be in two places at the same time? Sissy's tarot cards seem to be offering her clues, if only she can decipher them in time...
