The Clock Strikes Twelve
Note! The 1940 UK edition collected 14 stories from the 1930s. The 1946 Arkham House edition added 4 stories for a total of 18 and an essay by Wakefield. The 1961 Ballantine paperback reprint, \"Stories From The Clock Strikes Twelve\", included only 13 stories. The 1998 Ash-Press edition, \"The Clock Strikes Twelve and Other Stories\", reprints the essay and the 18 stories from the Arkham House edition and adds 3 additional stories.
