Memphis Run (Endworld #18) by David Robbins
Unrated

100 YEARS AFTER WWIII... The once-colorful city of Memphis was a dark prison whose citizens lived in fear of their depraved leader, the King. Seated on a plush throne in an enormous mansion that legend said belonged to Elvis Presley, the King ruled Memphis with an iron fist, keeping his subjects in check with his fiendish army, the Hounds of Hades.

MEMPHIS RUN: Blade and the Warriors thought that cutting down the King's army of mindless vermin would be as easy as swatting flies, but they weren't prepared for the real power behind the throne: the evil Dark Lord. No one had ever seen him, but anyone who spoke out against the King was dragged to his black chambers and never heard from again. The Warriors soon began to wonder if they could escape the city where the strains of music had been replaced by tortured screams...
