Gemma Fae Cross is not having a good day. An amateur boxer, she's just quit her job, her fiancee's running for the House of Representatives - leaving precious little time for smoochies - and, to top it all off, she's just discovered that she's half Tooth Fairy!

Despite the fact that she doesn't believe in fairies, her newly discovered heritage makes her something that every Fae in the tri-state area venerates as "the legendary hybrid." All things considered, it's not a bad profession - the wings are pretty cool, and the tooth ops - including robot spiders who report lost teeth to HQ, and secret drop-boxes around the city - are interesting, to say the least.

Now, Gemma needs to juggle the stress of a double life, a drop-dead sexy fae determined to seduce her, and breaking into the Watergate complex for her first assignment. There's also the small consideration that her dentist might be evil incarnate...
