Three Porges Parodies and a Pastiche
Michael Kean's elusive but brilliant collection of Arthur Porges' Holmesian spoofs was published by Magico Magazine in 1988. In addition to the four stories, the book contains an informative introduction by the editor, a transcription of a letter from Frederic Dannay to Arthur Porges, and a rare article by Porges entitled "The Other Works of Arthur Conan Doyle." The pastiche, "The Singular Affair of the Aluminium Crutch," was first published in this volume.
