Nemesis: Dark Apprentice
Fast Paced and Cleverly Written "Dark Apprentice" is an Action Packed Sequel That Delivers.
Dark Apprentice is the cleverly written continuation of Nemesis: Blood Trails, the first novel of the apocalyptical five book series which outlines the incessant struggle between the forces of good and evil, where fallen angels who were defeated in a battle that was waged in Heaven were exiled to the mortal plane.
This story begins right at the edge of climatic, nail biting, yet suspenseful cliffhanger of the first, where a dark natured, Avenging Angel named Mathias successfully abducts the Child of Prophesy (Jessica Graham) who unknowingly is a descendent of the lost Davidic blood line, and is needed to aid him in initiating a chain of events that will set the foundations to Armageddon.
Although Jessica's fate seems to be mired with evil intentions, all hope for redemption is not entirely lost. Close on their trail is an Arch Angel named Raziel, who seeks to thwart Mathias sinister plans and end their four thousand year vendetta once and for all. In addition to the supernatural elements involved in this novel, the storyline broadens as a plot is uncovered that involves the assassination of the Pope and other spiritual leaders, which is intended to bring the world into religious upheaval.
In the midst of this struggle for world domination, two agents of a Roman order called the Illuminate (Watchers and keepers mankind's greatest mysteries) have arrived to Jersey City and desperately seek to decipher the enigmatic signs that are unfolding around them. The pieces of the chess board have now been set and like before, the fate of mankind lay in the balance.
