A Feasting of Trolls

Ivar lives on a farm, looked after by his older brothers and sisters.  He's very happy, playing his fiddle - until he starts to wonder why, every Christmas, he's always sent away to stay with relatives.

And why is there always plenty of food in the farm's store-rooms before Christmas, but hardly any after?

"Where does all the food go, eh, Puss?" he says to the farm's black cat - and to his amazement, the cat answers him.
