In 1795, the survivors of a murderous torture orgy at the Château de Selligny in France are attacked by rabid wolves. Badly bitten, Guillaume Garou ends up in New Orleans, one hundred years later, as a cannibal necrophile recruited by the Knights of the White Camelia to carry out acts of atrocity and carnage. One hundred years after that, he emerges as the leader of a lightning-addicted gang of graveyard shape-shifters, roaming the southern states in search of flesh and bones and vying for survival in a nightmarish grindhouse underworld of vampiric sex covens, serial killers, hellfire lunatics, sadistic bounty-hunters, acid-damaged circus freaks, and the resurrected spectres of his former masters.

Dani’s main influences and inspirations come from weird and horror fiction written by H. P. Lovecraft and William Hope Hodgson, Ridley Scott movies, japanese horror films and Clive Barker’s works (the latter about which we’ll come to in a few minutes.
His love for horror culture started before his painting career, making him quickly develop his signature style: high contrast paintings with bright and strong dark colors, curved strokes and shadows, and a particular attention to his characters’ gaze and expression.
