Assassin of the Silver Rose
Bloodbane is the Sword of Rogues, and it awaits me on the Isle of Unslaking Thirst somewhere far to the west. But the journey is long and full of terrors. Visions of a pyramid baking under the onslaught of three suns fill my mind each time I close my eyes. I've been chosen, you see, to be the deadliest man alive. But to reach my goal I must present myself in the sacred crypt of the Pharaoh Djoser along with the Ruby of Destinies. This, or I die trying. There's only one complication: the great pyramid is lost in the desert, and it's guarded by lion-headed men. What may frighten me the most, however, is that the sword hungers for my immortal life.
How can I tame something that wants to feed on me? It's a question for which there is no answer. But if I do I'll wield the power of a god, and then all my enemies shall tremble before me.
