About the book

Trainland

It began with the blackouts...

Jack knows something is wrong when he starts waking up in odd places around New York City, always at 1:20, always with his dead four-year-old daughter’s picture in his hand. When a strange homeless man covered in burn scars begins to stalk him, offering a chance to save his daughter’s soul, Jack begins a search for answers. Is his daughter calling to him from beyond the grave?

The underworld awaits...

Guided by this mysterious man, Jack enters a supernatural city located at the end of a train tunnel on Lexington Avenue – a place where the laws of reality have been twisted beyond recognition. In this crumbling dead city, known as Trainland, a group of sinister men are hunting down the souls of innocent children. Jack must solve the mystery of his daughter’s death in order to stop them, then find a way to return home before a terrible tragedy – caused by his absence – befalls his wife and son.

This isn’t like any Hell you’ve ever known...

From the Suicidium, where the damned display the marks of their passing to gleeful crowds, to Reckoning, guarded by hellhounds, where relentless undustry harvests the blood of children, Jack’s journey through Trainland will test every ounce of his will – and summon a strength he never knew he had. His family needs him. His daughter’s death was just the beginning.
