Shadowboxer

Jade is a 17-year-old champion muay thai cage fighter, or she would be, if she could just keep a rein on her temper. When Jade gets into a fight with a Hollywood star, she is sent to train in Thailand and keep out of the spotlight. Mya is a ten-year-old refugee and a slave to shadowy crime lord Richard Fuller, who uses children like Mya to transport him to the mystical Thai forest, Himmapan, at the heart of his drugs and child-trafficking empire.

When reporters threaten Fuller, he uses Mya to leave a young journalist, Shea, for dead in Himmapan. But Mya escapes into the mystical forest, where she rescues Shea and the two of them are transported to Jade’s gym in New Jersey.

Jade is summoned to compete in a new cage fighting competition, and Shea suspects Fuller is involved. The three of them must work together to bring down Fuller before it is too late...
