Into the Abyss

"Into the Abyss" is the final installment of the "Chronicles of the Sithining" opening series. This episode follows the remaining Champions of the Blade of Light as they risk their lives to journey into the depths of the abyss in the hope that Airious can fulfill his destiny and save the soul of his fallen friend. Following the end of the War of Sorrow, the people of Preyll begin the long and difficult road toward reconstruction. Key members of the Champions of Light take up a vital role in the healing process. Elliese fulfills her responsibility to Larulin, escorting him to his final resting place. Malnic's obligations lie in the south as he is expected to guide the people of Karthol as they attempt to reestablish faith in their king and one another. While the people of Preyll struggle to carry on, Airious leads the elven calandar, Randoon, and his friend and mentor, Alledar into the bowels of the abyss. Airious presses on to fulfill his destiny of ending the near eternal war with the lord demon Azuel and a hope that he can save Prince Larulin's soul.
