The Golden Yarn

After waiting quite a while (apparently, Funke's Original English Publisher didn't want to publish "The Golden Yarn" before she made some changes, after which she in the end started her own publishing company) the third MirrorWorld book has finally been released - another three years after the second one. My god, this series is so good, why does it also have to publish so slowly? But, well, on the other hand, the slow writing process means that these books are near to perfect. In this book, there are some parts which I really hated (I mean, Fox, really? Did you have to do that?) - but, thankfully, there are few of them and do get resolved amazingly well in the end. [SPOILER] I have been waiting five years now for Fox - Celeste - and Jacob to get together - one my longly-yearned-for romances, and I am glad they finally did it, now. And in a good way too; not in the best, in my opinion, but good enough. Of course, after reading Funke for some years now, I know I now probably have to hang on to my heart to see what happens in the fourth and fifth book. For now, though, I am very glad - for me, and for my two favourite MirrorWorld characters. [SPOILER ENDS]
