I first read this book when it first was published and it was then one of my favouites. It brought to a thrilling conc;usion the story of Dorian Hawkmoon. I would then have recommended it very highly. I am about to start re-reading the Michael Moorcock ouevre, I hopr that these books live up to my fond memories
