The Hands of Lyr
Once the garden of the Goddess Lyr, the land called the Ryft lies blackened and desolate, destroyed by true evil. It is here that the child Alnosha came to learn of her ability to divine by touch. Now, the fugitive Kryn has come to Ryft, and although he mistrusts Alnosha's powers, he is drawn to her - for he has been chosen to serve as her sword and champion.

Andre Alice Norton (1912-2005) was an American science fiction and fantasy author (with some works of historical fiction and contemporary fiction) under the noms de plume Andre Norton, Andrew North and Allen Weston.
