When 13 year-old Greenwick wakes up in a forest, he has no memory of how he got there - or who he is. To make matters worse, he finds himself accompanied by a strangely domesticated grizzly bear.

Confused at first, the two journey across a vast, magical world, bumping into danger... and those who claim to prevent it.

Thrown into a conflict between nations, beasts and spectres, Greenwick begins his journey of self-discovery. Soon enough, coincidences begin to feel more like fate, and his mysterious identity is put aside to focus on his destiny.
