Circle of the Moon

In a world where the earth hums with ancient magic, Soulwood offers a spellbinding glimpse into the dark undercurrents of the supernatural. The series centers on Nell Ingram, a woman bound to the land in ways that make her both a protector and a weapon. Raised in isolation, Nell’s connection to the earth is more than mystical—it’s primal. When she's recruited by PsyLED, a covert government agency tasked with dealing with paranormal threats, her powers—and her past—are thrust into the heart of a deadly, complex world.

As Nell navigates this dangerous terrain, she confronts not only the supernatural creatures that threaten humanity, but the darker aspects of her own abilities, which are tied to a past she can’t fully escape. Each new challenge forces her to confront the truth about herself, her powers, and the cost of belonging to a world she can never truly leave behind. The tension between her deep-rooted magic and the human side of her is a delicate balance that propels the series forward, as Nell wrestles with her identity and the responsibilities that come with being one of the few people capable of bridging the human and supernatural worlds.

What sets Soulwood apart is the rich, immersive world that feels as alive as its characters. The magic isn’t just something Nell wields—it’s an omnipresent force, a character in its own right, with a pulse that permeates every story. This atmospheric and often gritty world-building creates a backdrop where danger lurks around every corner, and every mission feels like a race against time. As Nell teams up with a diverse crew of experts—psychics, military operatives, and other mysterious figures—the stakes keep rising, and the line between ally and enemy grows ever more uncertain.

Through its complex characters, moody atmosphere, and intricately woven plotlines, Soulwood pulls readers into a world where trust is scarce, but loyalty runs deep. The series is as much about the battles fought in the field as it is about the internal struggles that define who we are. Fans of dark urban fantasy will find themselves captivated by Nell’s journey and the world she inhabits, where every new revelation peels back another layer of mystery, power, and sacrifice.

In a world where magic is both a gift and a curse, Soulwood invites you to explore the shadows, where secrets are buried in the earth—and sometimes, they’re best left there.
