The Night Just Got Darker

A short story.

Imagine a man in a room on a quiet suburban street. He is typing at a computer, writing as if for his life. He writes all night long, his face a mask of concentration, hands moving so fast they blur.

One night he looks up and out of the window. He sees you.

You stand and stare, wondering what it is that he writes. You shiver and realise the night just got darker.
