Indigo, cursed to find and slay the seven demons she released, is travelling with the players, now almost a part of the ramshackle family she has come to love.

But the crops are blighted. There are tales of near-zombies wandering the countryside. And of a forest that moves.

Indigo's lodestone flickers widely. The demon seems to be all around her. But if she is to fight it, what will be the consequences for her friends, and for Grimya, the she-wolf who is inexorably bound to her quest?

Slowly, life is being leached from the land and its people. Must Indigo face the challenge alone, to protect those she loves? Fate may have other plans...
