Dark Voyage Matters of the Soul

Before I.T. Lucas became one of the most recognized voices in paranormal romance, she was simply a storyteller at heart—drawn to the mysteries of ancient civilizations, the unexplainable pull of fate, and the eternal question of what it means to truly belong. Those themes didn’t just make their way into her writing—they became the lifeblood of it.

Raised with a deep curiosity about mythology and metaphysics, Lucas later found her creative spark ignited in the midst of everyday life. A mother of four and a small business owner, she hadn’t planned on becoming a novelist. It was a quiet nudge from her sons—who saw something in the stories she shared—that led her to write what would become The Children of the Gods series. What began as a single story evolved into a sprawling saga of immortals, love, and legacy, now spanning dozens of books and earning a fiercely loyal readership.

Lucas’s writing is known for its immersive world-building and emotionally layered characters. Her series doesn’t just flirt with supernatural elements—it dives deep into a world where ancient bloodlines still shape destinies, and love is as eternal as the gods themselves. Blending suspense, passion, and the metaphysical, her work offers something rare in the genre: romantic fantasy that feels grounded in human emotion.

With hundreds of thousands of readers and a consistent presence on Kindle’s top charts, Lucas has carved out a space entirely her own. She writes with quiet confidence, inviting readers into a universe that feels mythic in scope but intimate in tone. And while her books explore the lives of gods, warriors, and immortals, her stories always come back to the same place—connection, family, and the power of choosing love, even when time itself seems to stand in the way.
