Ember: Balance

Amber Goodwin...err, Embriel 'Ember' Conah.

I was a normal sophomore slumming it at Leeford High School until my sixteenth birthday, only to learn my life was anything but normal. For sixteen years, I was living a lie.

I found I wasn't only adopted; my parents didn't even live in this dimension.

You think this is weird? I am still trying to digest it myself.

I wasn't Amber Goodwin...I was supposedly the daughter of a great warrior king who was slain, and I was his only heir named Embriel 'Ember' Conah.

This crap only happens in dreams.

According to this stranger, my supposed self-proclaimed mentor, Seraph, I am the chosen one—the savior of balance. I was supposed to bring together unity and ataxia in order to defeat the one who wanted to destroy two realms I had no idea even existed—the Celestial Realm and the Purgatory Realm.

I have no idea how an awkwardly reserved wannabe goth chick is supposed to beat some devil, but since I was given no choice...it's only a matter of time when I learn what this all means.
