As the Vietnam War odyssey of 1LT Jif Miles continues, he suffers a devastating blow when tragedy strikes his unit. But he soldiers on in a new assignment with 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile). With the end of his one-year tour approaching, Jif’s decisive actions prevent a different sort of tragedy, the aftermath of which leads to a reaffirming life decision about his future in the Army. He soon finds himself near the Cambodian border as 1st Cav confronts tenacious NVA forces intent on seizing Saigon.
